Accessing And Editing A Ticket

In this tutorial we’ll show you how you can access and edit the information associated with a ticket that’s already been created in your Beam workspace.

Accessing Ticket Information

To access ticket information, click on the ticket you want to examine in the Tickets module. This will open up a modal where you can access all the selected ticket’s information.

The Ticket view can be divided into 3 distinct sections. Header, Metadata and Activity History

Header

The header displays critical information about the Ticket, such as: Ticket Type, Ticket ID, Ticket Name, Due Date, Status, Priority, Assignee, Purchase Link, Reported By, Created Date, Closed Date, and Duration in days.

Metadata

The metadata shows you Ticket Description, Asset(s) Relationships as well as all Custom Fields that are configured for your Ticket entity. 

Activity History

Activity History display a record of all actions that have been performed on a Ticket, as well as comments and @ mentions to other users that have access to your Beam account.

Editing Ticket Information

All information in the Ticket view is editable. Click on the field you want to edit, and edit it accordingly.
