Managing Invitations
Beam works best when used with others. In this tutorial we’ll show you how you can manage your workspace invites to ensure that everyone has the access that they need to your organization's asset data.
Accessing Invitations
You can see and manage the status of your account invitations by navigating to Configuration option in the navigation menu
Once on the configuration page, click on User Management from the menu options:
Inside the User Management configuration page, you will be presented with three tabs. Current Users, Invitations and Groups
Inside the Invitations tab you will see all of the invitations that have been sent from your Beam account to potential users, and their status, along with a button to invite additional users.
Invitation Status are:
- Accepted
- Sent
- Expired
Inviting Users
To add additional users, click on the ‘Invite User’ button.
A prompt will appear requesting the new user’s email address, role that will be assigned to them, and their user group.
After filling in the required information, click the Add button. An email will be sent to the user with a unique link where they can accept the invitation and set their password.
Managing Existing Invitations
Inside the Invitations tab, you can cancel an invitation that has been sent by clicking the three dotted button, and clicking ‘Cancel Invitation’.
If the user that received the invitation has not accepted it yet, the link they received over email to create their account will now be invalid.
