Tags are a key data type for any asset in your inventory. They help you organize, search, and segment your assets in a way that makes day-to-day inventory management easier. In this tutorial we will show you how you can add tags to an asset.

Accessing The Tag Configuration
1. Open the overflow menu in the top right corner of the Tags section of the side panel.
2. Click on Manage tags from the ensuing dropdown menu.
Adding A Tag
1. Search or scroll the tags in the ensuing modal and click on the tags that you want to add.
2. When you're satisfied with your selections, click on Confirm, in the bottom right of the modal.
Any tags that you added will now be visible in the side panel.
Deleting A Tag
1. Click on the "x" button next to the tags that you want to delete.
